Tours of the Permanent Exhibition “How Enemies Became Friends“
Visitors will gain an overall impression of the permanent collection and the most interesting exhibits from 50 years of the Allied presence in Berlin.
Tours of the Large Objects
The British Hastings TG 503 aircraft, a railroad car from the French military train and the last guardhouse from Checkpoint Charlie tell their own stories of the varied history of the Allied presence in Berlin. During this thematic tour, visitors will have the unique opportunity to see the exhibits from the inside.
“When chocolate rained down from the skies....“ An interactive tour of the Museum's permanent collection for elementary school classes
The thematic focus is on the immediate postwar years in Berlin and the Berlin Airlift. During the tour, the children will become acquainted with the armies of the western occupying forces. They learn how heavy a sack of coal from the Airlift era was, and gain glimpses of the lives of Berlin children shortly after the war. The highlight is an inside tour of a genuine “Candy Bomber“ airplane.
The Allied Museum offers tours in German, English and French.
The tours last approx. 1 hour and cost 35.00 EUR per group (25 persons max.).
Tours are free of charge for school groups. Different thematic emphases can be set by prior arrangement.
