| The Allied Museum’s collection of photos and slides, numbering approximately 20,000, document a wide spectrum of the Allied presence in Berlin. About 70 % of the photo collection is of U.S. origin and spans the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Gifts and new acquisitions continually expand the archives. The Museum recently acquired an extensive collection which illustrates France’s presence in Berlin: the photos of Egon Lange, a former photographer for the French military government. |
