On Tuesday, March 23, the Allied Museum hosted a very distinguished visitor from Jordan. His Royal Highness Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein came to the Museum with the Jordanian ambassador, His Excellency Mr. Issa Ayyoub, to view the exhibition. The director of the Museum, Dr. Gundula Bavendamm, and the curator Bernd von Kostka gave the guests a tour of the permanent collection and the special exhibition. Prince Hamzah was very interested in the history of the Cold War in Berlin. A vehicle on display in the current exhibition “Wall Patrol” was very familiar to His Royal Highness, because he drove one of this type during his military training.
At the end of the visit, which lasted about one hour, His Royal Highness signed the Museum’s VIP guestbook.
