Vacation program
A vacation with a chocolate pilot and spies
Our workshops for kids
Museums are boring? No way! Spend a very special vacation day with us: During the Berlin school vacations we invite you to participate in arts and crafts and game workshops with a difference. First, you’ll immerse yourself in postwar Berlin and the history of the Berlin Airlift. Find out who the Chocolate Pilot Gail S. Halverson was, visit the interior of the British Airlift plane also known as the “Candy Bomber,” and make your own chocolate parachute.
In the afternoon, disguise yourself as a top spy for our espionage game and search for secret clues between the exhibition cases. You’ll need a quick mind to crack the secret codes. Don’t forget to carry the secret agent ID you produced yourself, complete with your fingerprints and codename, with you at all times. Learn interesting facts about the Allies in Berlin with loads of fun and games.

We organize our vacation program for German speakers together with the JugendKulturService in Berlin, which also handles registration. The dates and conditions of participation can be found in the Super-Ferien-Pass.
