The Hastings TG 503 “Candy Bomber,” the French military railcar, the last guardhouse from Checkpoint Charlie and the segments and watchtower of the Berlin Wall are haunting testimonies to the history of the Cold War in Berlin.
During this tour, the pupils deepen their knowledge of the two Berlin crises of 1948/49 and 1958 – 1961 and have the unique opportunity to discover the airlift plane, the military railcar and the guardhouse at Checkpoint Charlie from the inside.
