ONLINE WORKSHOP: REMEMBERING THE BERLIN AIRLIFT

It has been more than 70 years since the last Airlift plane landed in Berlin. The Allies had proven that they were unwilling to give up on West Berlin and its population. The Berlin Airlift is still very much alive in collective consciousness and has produced a diverse culture of remembrance. In an online workshop, school classes can explore the Airlift and the meaning of cultures of remembrance, historical narratives and stories that help to create identity, and also discuss modern forms of remembering the Airlift.
